Coronavirus Update From All-Season Cottage Rentals

It seems as though we’re all looking for answers during this critical time in humanity’s history. While we should all remain vigilant, it is important for us to stand strong in the face of adversity. Maintaining both our mental and physical health, while practicing healthy travel, will be of the utmost concern going forward.

Our Focus

We are closely monitoring the coronavirus through the guidance of the Public Health Agency of Canada and the World Health Organization to ensure we can accommodate our guests while doing our part to keep them, our associates, and community safe. As such, we’ve been paying special attention to items and areas that are touched frequently, such as keys, door handles, locks, railings, countertops, light switches, and bathroom fixtures. While it may be possible to contract COVID-19 by touching surfaces and objects, this is currently not thought to be the primary form of transmission at this point. Because of the poor survivability of the coronavirus on surfaces, it is also not likely to spread from food products either.

We’ve also been taking several steps to ensure the health of our associates by asking them to stay home if they or an immediate family member is ill. We’ve also reminded them about the importance of properly washing their hands, not touching their faces, and wiping down and sanitizing their workspaces. With these precautions, we can slow the spread of coronavirus and do our part to restore normalcy to our daily lives.

The Good News

The saying goes, “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” We’ve all been handed the biggest crate of lemons many of us have ever gotten. So why not get started on that lemonade now so that it can be ready by spring? The best thing to do in a crisis is to avoid panicking and sometimes that means isolation. Our properties provide rural seclusion without the cabin fever. With plenty of outdoor activities like fishing and hiking, you can still practice social distancing without going stir crazy.
