We had an amazing time at Blackwoods cottage this summer! Having a bedroom on the ground floor was especially convenient for older family members and we loved gathering in the evening in the cozy Haliburton room to play board games and plan the next day's adventures. The kitchen was wonderfully spacious with a large island that gave everyone room to help with meal prep and clean up. We enjoyed meals at the dining room table with its beautiful views of the water. The amenities were outstanding, Sauna, smoker, canoe, paddleboard, kayaks, and a dock complete with a large umbrella for shade. The small beach was also a bonus, providing easy access for kids and older adults. We especially appreciated the beds already made for our arrival. Blackwoods had everything we needed for a relaxing memorable family vacation. We are looking forward to returning next year!
