A nature lover's paradise! Bon Repos offers a unique mix of remote wilderness with modern comfort. This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage is part of a community of 35 eco-friendly lakefront properties required, by covenant, to sustain the natural beauty and overall health of their little piece of paradise. Owners are not permitted to cut down trees, or alter the shoreline, and all buildings are required to be set back a minimum of 99 feet from the shoreline. The property is surrounded by over 350 acres of managed forest, filled with mature hardwoods and evergreens sheltering an abundance of wildlife. The cottage offers a high level of privacy. Due to the unspoiled lots with heavy tree cover, and set back requirements, you often feel like you are the only people on the lake. The cottage faces west over Little Glamor lake which is a relatively small, quiet lake located 15 minutes south east of Haliburton Village. The clear, clean water offers fantastic swimming and fishing. There is shallow entry with a sand/stone bottom. The small island out from the cottage is just one of the great destinations to explore by kayak. The cottage is a "home away from home" with all the amenities needed to ensure that you enjoy your stay including; unlimited internet, central air conditioning, screened in porch, dishwasher, gas range, TV, propane fireplace, etc.

We had a wonderful time at Bon Repos. The owner left us home made cookies and treats for our dogs. What a nice touch! The cottage is lovely and the air conditioning was a welcome addition the week of our stay. The sunsets where gorgeous and the call of the loons was spectacular. We would love to come back again next year.
