I cannot tell you enough about this place. It is just beautiful, spacious, private, quiet and close to the Sir Sam's ski hill. We were there for 3 nights in January with 4 adults and 3 young kids (3,5,6yrs old) and eveyone had a blast! There are plenty of room for people to sit back, relax and enjoy the company of each other! The basement was a bit of a trick to get warmed up but we found 2 portable heating fans in a closet and set those up at low and the basement was warm enough for the kids to enjoy watching one of many many many movies that they have (the collection is impressive). The pots and pans, cutlery, plates, glasses etc that are there are in really good shape and good number, we didn't miss anything we needed to cook all of our meals. When we got there the snow removal team did a great job at making the place accessible but the shovel at the front door was broken in two. That was ok since we didn't need to use it at all. This place must be ever greater in the summer as it is right by the water and offer a lot to be on the water (lifejackets, paddleboat, canoe, stand up paddleboard etc) but the 2 story deck must offer a great opportunity to relax outside, something we did not do as skiing was our main activity. I am DEFINITELY going back to this place next year as we also fell in love with the ski hill that offers great skiing for my 6yrs old! Thanks so much to All Season Cottages and the owner for a week end that my family and my best friend's family will remember for a long time!

The cottage wasn't well equipped with all kitchen necessities. The cottage was clean and spacious. All the Tv and music systems worked (which is fantastic, coz most cottages have very old TVs). The lake was absolutely beautiful and it was perfect for canoeing. You hear the loons and birds, and it joust felt so in tune with nature. Would definitely recommend this cottage for family get togethers. So worth it!!!

Beautiful cottage on quiet lake

WE spent 4 days at a beautiful cottage close to Haliburton on a nice quiet lake. Our stay was for a family get together and it was perfect because this cottage has 2 completely finished floors so 2 families can have their own space and a bathroom on each floor makes it very accomodating for each family. Be aware that their are many stairs to the lake and this could prove an issue for anyone with small children or elderly family. The deck is great and is on both levels, a great fire pit. We would definitely rent this again.

It is my first time renting a cottage for 3 nights in Dec for our family (6 adults and 6 youths) Christmas gathering. Before arrival I am a bit nervous after reading pages of the rental document on extreme care using water, bathroom, internet, as well as the requirement on cleaning and garbage disposal. It is even expected to remove any finger print on window or glass which in my opinion is way too much... Luckily the check out time for us was 4pm so at least gave us enough time to finish all clean up tasks before we left. The cottage is located at a private small road with a few slopes. Unfortunately on our arrival day we hit a bad freezing rain day. Our minivan was not powerful enough to climb up the slope even worse it got stuck in a ditch. No tow shop was willing to offer help until next day in the afternoon. No blame on the rental property itself but it would be nice if the management will consider including a few words of warning in the rental document on special attention to road hazardous condition in winter due to the location of the cottage. The cottage itself is very new (only 3 years old), spacious and beautiful! It is well equipped with everything a family may need. The beds are comfortable. The layout of the cottage is great. It has 2 levels with 5 double/queen beds, 2 bathrooms and enough open area which accommodates 12 people comfortably. The cottage is facing a beautiful lake with a dock. Too bad there is not much to see in the winter since the balcony is covered with few feet of snow. However, I could imagine how beautiful it would be in summer or autumn time. One last complaint is the cottage has only one big TV but have no TV reception. The internet was not working during our stay. We called the management twice (believe they had tried to help) but still it was never fixed. If it is not we have our own data plan, we were almost out of touch of what's happening outside the cottage... Disregard some moments of hard time and struggles getting to the cottage, we had a wonderful time. All adults and youths enjoy the stay very much!! We will definitely consider coming back during summer or autumn season in near future. Thank you!!

All-Season Cottage Rentals' Response:

Due to the freezing rain on Boxing Day, the roads were a mess and tow trucks were busy. I'm glad we were able to refer you to a tow company that was able to help. When renting in the future, please note that only cottages with satellite dishes get TV reception. If there isn't a satellite dish then the TV is meant for movie watching only.

Ayesha was a beautiful cottage - exactly as it is pictured - which was wonderful to see. The entire cottage is very open, bright and inviting. The lake the cottage sits on was great to swim and play in - water was warm and shallow enough close to shore - but still deep enough to dive in off the dock. Very quiet lake - great to kayak and snorkel on - nights were very quiet in the overall area - great for fires and relaxing....

We rented this cottage over the New Years weekend. The location was exactly what we were hoping for. The large open concept living room gave a perfect view out over the frozen lake. The sleeping arrangements were fantastic as well. The cottage was stocked with cooking and cleaning supplies as well, this made eating and cleaning up really easy. We were a bit worried about how snow would affect our trip, as we had never rented a cottage in the winter. The driveway was nicely plowed and the streets in the area were cleaned regularly. Even after a heavy snowfall on our first day there, the roads were cleared and the street cleaned. I would rate this cottage experience a perfect 10 and would eagerly book the cottage again next year.

We enjoyed our stay in the cottage and had a chance to use some of the water facility (canoe, kayak, etc). The only complain we had mostly about the quality of beds in the bedrooms, some of them are too soft and squeaking. Other than that, it's only about the distance from the cottage to the nearest coffee place (like Tim Horton's) which took about 30 mins drive.

We enjoyed Ayesha very much. We found the lake was a little small of our liking but the cottage itself was great. One small comment, the check out instructions stated that we needed to fully clean the cottage but as we were finishing up, the cleaner showed up. We would have appreciated having the extra time to enjoy the cottage and leave it tidy had we known the cleaner was coming in after us.
