We spent most of our days at the water. Although there are neighbours it’s feels private and quiet. The cottage had everything we needed - lots and room to spread out, comfy beds, and tons of games and paddle boards and spots to lounge around. The kitchen is well equipped, and the place was spotless when we arrived. I highly recommend.

This cottage had more than adequate space for our party of 10 people (including 2 children). It was very quiet and peaceful. The game room provided lots of entertainment for our group. The next door neighbour was having work done for a couple of days during our stay so it was very noisy because they were running a planer for several hours each day. I understand that can't be avoided so we just lived with the noise.
We do plan to return though as the cottage had everything we needed, plus it was pet free which is a huge plus because a few in our group are extremely allergic to cats and dogs.

This is a beautiful spacious cottage that has views like no other. From the upper deck to the lower patio, we looked out at the lake with such appreciation.
The Cottage:
The cottage was immaculate. Each bedroom was beautifully decorated and so welcoming. We were a group of 5 who slept is a variety of rooms- each with great views and super comfort.
The Activities:
We went on one of the coldest weekends of the winter, so in between our walks around the area, we came back to Cedar Ridge for more fun! From the pool table, to Pac-Man, to board games: we had so much fun. This cottage has everything, and it’s so spacious that some of us more “active” ones could enjoy all of the activities while others could quietly read a book in other rooms, or chilled out watching movies.
I would highly recommend this beautiful cottage. This is such a beautiful area. We also went into town and ate at the restaurant, “Hook Line and Sinker”. The main strip in Haliburton is a great place to explore and shop.
Don’t miss out on this lovely cottage and area. We are looking forward to booking again in the Summer and Fall. It was just that memorable.

This cottage truly checks off all the boxes! My family (grandparents, kids and siblings) stayed at the Cedar Ridge Lake House in August 2023. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space, and also come together for games night, dinner and of course s’’mores at the fire pit! My kids enjoyed trying new water activities (canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding) and jumping off the dock into the clear water. We also enjoyed that linens, towels and beach towels were included with our stay. Thank you to the wonderful hosts- we will be back!

We have been multiple times as it offers so much and very clean! We have had family gatherings including Great Grandparents and new babies! It offers something for every age and so much space you can always find a beautiful spot to read a book! Summer or winter this is the place you want to be! Looking so forward to our next time! 10 ++++

Where do we begin?! Had an amazing week with friends just getting away and enjoying our birthday.
The cottage is massive, more than enough room for people to do whatever they want. From getting some sun on the outside deck to watching movies or playing videos games to swimming in the lake. There is so much to do around the property.
The privacy is great!! You can see the lake perfectly but still have trees where people can't see you. It is also on a quieter part of the lake so you barely get any lake traffic or noise.
Everyone had an amazing time. The cottage is very clean, everyone has their own privacy and it is peaceful....I mean PEACEFUL!! No matter the time of day, especially at night it just feels calming and tranquil.
Overall we give it a 10/10. You totally get what you pay for; you won't be disappointed.
We will 100% be back to Cedar Ridge Lake House next year!!
