The cottage is great and the location is amazing. I like a more rustic cottage so this fit the bill. The sand beach made it easy to play with dogs and the deep water at the end of the dock made jumping and diving easy. The dock gets lots of sun so it is a great place to sit and read or drink a morning coffee. The lack of cell reception and slow Internet meant no gaming or streaming movies which was great since it meant playing board games. Lots of water crafts make it a fun time for all.
If you plan to rent this place please know the last little road into the place is tricky and if you use a car rather then a truck or suv then you have yo be careful not to scrape the bottom of your car. If you have a dog there is t a great area to walk them but Haliburton is only 25 minutes away and has great paths and trails.
All and all we are looking forward to renting again next year.

Our family has gone up two years in a row. We made some great family memories. It was nice to be network/wifi free for the week. Clean private lake area and the older kids loved the bunkie. Looking forward to going back again soon.

This cabin had what we needed for a comfortable stay. The dock and water toys were wonderful! We loved the boating and swimming. It would have been nice to get a heads-up in advance that the clothes washer was not working. It was basically clean, but shower, laundry tub and kitchen sink had not been scrubbed. I would stay here again, but the steep downhill to get to the cottage was very tricky and there is very limited parking.
