Cozy, clean cottage for small family

We had a very nice week late July at this cottage. It is small but very clean and cozy, was fully redone recently, which shows positively. It is well equipped inside (kitchen, utensils, bedding, etc.); also appreciated the fact it had many hooks to hang your clothes! Outside, the dock is a bit old and probably needs to be replaced soon. A screened space outside would be nice to get some peace from the mosquitos. Would have been nice to have a kayak, in addition to the canoe. The lake is great for swimming (once you get past a short weedy stretch), and the view is beautiful. It is a motorized lake so don't expect complete silence. Overall, great value for a small family!

Very little to complain about with this cottage. There is a sandy walk in area but also a dock to jump off, enough sleeping for 3 families, a beautiful lake, close to small towns, great park nearby, flat area for sports, good fishing, the list goes on. The only negative is the closeness to the road, which can be heard all day, but you get used to it... and it is only 1 negative!

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying for 3 nights over the labour day weekend. It's tucked away in a very secluded spot away from almost everything. There is a short hike up to the cliff which has an awesome view. Just be careful! Cottage had lots of firewood for a great fire at night and there was a cool little paddleboat which allowed us to tour the area. The scene in the morning was unforgetable. Mist over the water and perfectly still. Andrea (owner) checked in with us just to make sure everything was ok. Will go again for sure next year!
