**MID-WEEK SPECIAL!!! SAVE $200 OFF THE RENTAL AMOUNT FOR MID-WEEK BOOKINGS (Sunday to Thursday) - DISCOUNT WILL BE APPLIED ONCE APPLICATION HAS BEEN RECEIVED** Beautiful and lovingly cared for 4-bedroom, 1-washroom cottage on Little Glamor Lake is the perfect location for a family lakeside getaway! The open concept layout with vaulted ceiling feels roomy and spacious, the ideal setting for spending quality time together as a family. The lakeside of the cottage is almost all windows, highlighted by large cathedral/bay windows providing a gorgeous view of the lake. When the weather is nice enjoy your meals outside at the dining set on the on the deck, or relax on the conversation set sheltered under a gazebo. Internet is available at the cottage with unlimited data, but please be mindful that speeds in cottage country are not as fast, or as reliable, as they are in the city. The waterfront is perhaps one of the biggest highlights of the cottage. Southern exposure provides sun all day long. You can swim from the sand beach, or off the dock, in the clean and clear waters of Little Glamor Lake. The lake is restricted to a maximum 9.9 hp boat, so it is quieter than many lakes in the area and great to explore in one of the many watercraft available at the cottage. The resident loons on the lake are not shy, but we would ask that you please keep your distance and give them space if you happen to meet up with them on the lake. Please note that water levels start high in the Spring and get lower throughout the summer. The photo of the beach in the listing was taken early in the Fall when water levels were low. During the summer, the beach will not be as big.

Such a beautiful spot. If you’re looking for a gorgeous view, nature, rest and relaxation on a beautiful lake, look no further. We had a great long weekend, spent relaxing on the dock and by the fire. The cottage is well equipped with all the comforts of home. The chipmunks are very friendly!????

Five pines is a lovely space. We ate our breakfast in a lounger looking at the lake. We were able to play in the water when the weather turned hot. Our dog loved chasing her ball from the lake and frogging along the shoreline. The gazebo protected us from nasty insects. The cottage had everything we could want plus extras. Thank you five pines for a great holiday.

Generally an excellent week away

The Five Pines cottage was lovely. Everything you could need for a good vacation was at hand. The screened in gazebo got much use and was appreciated. There were a few issues however. The low motor lake was absolutely that through the week - in fact we rarely even saw a boat - but there was no shortage of water skiers/tubers on the weekend (Friday - Sunday night). Not what we were expecting. We never saw or even heard a loon through the entirety of our week there and have to presume that the loon "family" living on the lake has moved on. Perhaps this info should no longer be included in the cottage description. We are a senior couple (75 & 63) and very much looked forward to using the peddleboat to explore the lake. Having it leaning against a tree 15 feet from the water made that impossible. We may have been able to muscle it into the lake but would never have gotten it out again. The main living area of the cottage was wonderful and open but got incredibly warm with the afternoon sun. Although there is a ceiling fan, the owners might consider getting a floor fan to help move the air. All in all, it is a lovely cottage that a family with children should truly enjoy. Lots of water toys, a trampoline and plenty of room to play both inside and out. Thanks for a great week! Rob and Linda

Amazing cottage, great location, great weather!

We were so lucky to have hot weather, the cottage was large enough for our family. The cottage was clean, and beautiful, great fishing we all caught some fish. The water area had a shallow entry for us to enter to swim . There were lots of water toys for children, not so many for adults to use. Lots of frogs in grass area. 2 big refrigerators were awesome. Very close to Haliburton for groceries and other stores. We visited kwartha ice cream, minden ,and other unique stores . Some breweries as well. Loved it that we got one full weekend as a part of our stay. My only suggestions to the cottage owners are to add the following, a better ceiling fan in kitchen, living room area or install some shades or blinds to reduce heat coming in . Add adult kayak - if 6 adults are staying it would be beneficial to have another kayak for adults or SUP boards for adults. A fan is needed in the bedroom off the living room. The one in write up was not present in cottage. There is no washing machine - write up needs to be modified . A ladder added to dock would be beneficial , And better chairs on dock- muskoka chairs would make this a golden 5 star cottage . We had a fantastic time and enjoyed our stay. Would love to return.

Great place but security cameras are always watching you.

This cottage has everything you need and more to enjoy the grandkids. Lots of water toys, huge front yard, sandy bottom. Wonderful private road for walks. Inside the amenities were more than we needed. Very well appointed. The Internet capable TV was a good thing for rainy days. The only thing that causes me to rate privacy as poor is that the owners have security cameras and flood lights front and back. You will be monitored without notice or provacation 24 hours per day and at night the front and back are lit up with really bright white lights. This was unexpected and unwelcome, and not in the cottage description. Luckily, after a couple of days, we decided to switch off the breaker that controls the front camera and flood light. I'd like to thank JT at All Season Cottage Rentals for helping facilitate that action. Our evenings around the fabulous fire pit were much more enjoyable without the light or the security cameras.

All-Season Cottage Rentals' Response:

Thanks for your review! We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the cottage overall. As a quick note for the benefit of future guests; the cottage does have exterior security camera's as is becoming very common in cottage country. Rest assured, while there are exterior security cameras at the cottage, they are not monitored by the property owners while the cottage is occupied. They are only turned on while the cottage is unoccupied.

Nice Upgraded Cottage

Cottage is nicely kept and upgraded, nice firepit area and good access to the village of Haliburton, Internet worked well. Nice to talk a hike or walk over to where Big Glamor and Little Glamor meet. Dock needs a swim ladder and would suggest installing a swim raft further out as the water off the dock is only about 3 and half feet

Welcoming and well laid out

The cottage was beautiful, well laid out, homey and comfortable., The ceiling fans were very welcome in the bedrooms. The new kitchen was a delight and the dishwasher was a very welcome addition as was the coffee station. Everyone enjoyed the lake, the dock and the kayaks and standup paddle boards and the paddle boat. The other people on the lake were very friendly. The children got to swim with a painted turtle during their swims and the loon dropped by several times as well. Fishing off the dock was a rewarding experience with a very nice catch for the children and grandfather. (with catch and release). Since we went at the height of mosquito season our patio enjoyment was limited so the screened in and lighted gazebo was well used. We very much enjoyed our stay. There was a heat warning during our stay and some of the ceiling fans did not work and the cottage became very warm. We bought a fan to help move the air. Cell phone reception is very poor in the cottage but can be found halfway to the lake and on the dock. This is definitely a return visit cottage

Well-appointed cottage with a great waterfront!

We enjoyed a very comfortable stay at Five Pines. The cottage is spacious, and well-appointed. Everything was very clean. My family enjoyed our time at the water, in particular the use of the various boats. The only negative was the abundance of weeds on the lawn area on the way down to the lake. The geese had obviously been enjoying their time there, making it a bit of a minefield! Other than this minor inconvenience, everything was excellent. Thank you for sharing your lovely space with us!
