A return visit. This place has everything. Lots of room. Enough living rooms/common spaces that there's some we never used. And the best stocked kitchen we've ever rented out of 20 cottages over the years. There's no utensil/tool/pan they don't have. The indoor and outdoor space are all top notch. Couldn't recommend it more.

Beautiful, clean, fully stocked cottage. I cannot offer any suggestions for improvement. The lake (no motors of any sort) is pristine, natural and peaceful. This was our second visit and we will not hesitate to rent again. I was admittedly a little reluctant to post such a good review as I really do not want to draw too much attention to the cottage as I fear competition for the rental in the future.

This is an astounding cottage. It has everything you might need and then some. It is the cleanest cottage we've ever rented. Things feel new but lived in. It's warm, spacious - there's three living rooms so there's plenty of space for people to get privacy if they want. The hot tub is great. The lake is small, engine-free and peaceful. The area around it is great for walks. There's only one cottage beside you and shape of the land gives you lots of privacy. And all in all it's just really beautifully put together. Highly recommend it.

Thank you for sharing your lovely cottage with us. The decore was lovely and tasteful. Super organized and a nice touch having everything labled. Everything you could need was provided. We specially appreciated the various pillows to choose from. The balcony was wonderful and that's where we ate all our meals. Only thing that would've made it perfect, would've been a canoe or kayak. Hope to come back again next year.

This cottage exceeded our every expectation. It was beautiful, clean, well outfitted, well maintained and clearly well loved. The location was unbeatable and the fact that the lake had no motors on it was the icing on the cake. We would not change a thing and our family could not have had a more wonderful vacation. We will be back.

Exceptionally spacious, tidy and modern cottage with a decent amount of privacy. While the neighbours' cottage is physically close, their dock is a fair enough distance that you won't feel crowded. The lake overall is pristine and small, with what seems to be a very limited number of docks entering it at all. Beautifully quiet at night and into the morning hours. Well located by Eagle Lake with a local LCBO/market, and close distance to both Haliburton and the wolf sanctuary (a favourite of our families).
With two levels, it's ideal for families with kids or teens, as they can have their own separate space. Even moreso with the loft which our not-quite-tweens absolutely loved. The cottage is well appointed, with clean and functional appliances. A few odd things felt missing that I would have expected - matts outside the shower for instance - and a dinner table with only enough seating for six, despite a sleeping capacity of up to ten. Nothing you'd consider a deal-breaker though.
Overall, we had a fantastic visit and wish we could have stayed longer!

the location and property were fantastic. I've never stayed on a no motor lake and i really enjoyed how calm it was.
I emailed letting you know the fridge was leaking when we arrived and there were also ants throughout the kitchen and even found some in living room on my baby's blanket... so that might be something you want to address.
We will be booking a week rental next August long weekend but we like to keep trying different cottages.
Thanks again
