Immaculate 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom executive cottage on prestigious Kennisis Lake. The open and spacious layout makes this the perfect location to gather the family for a memorable getaway on the lake. The kitchen, dining area & living room are open concept, with cathedral ceilings and a stunning wall of windows with a fantastic view! Walk out to a beautiful 3-season room with access to deck overlooking the lake. The main floor master bedroom has an ensuite with jacuzzi bath. Kids bedroom with two twin beds is also located on the main floor. Downstairs is a spacious den and two more bedrooms. Enjoy a fire in the evening while admiring the one of a kind bear carving on a tree stump overlooking the patio. There is beautiful deep water swimming in the clean, clear and weed-free waters of Kennisis lake, which is also great for boating. A sloping granite shelf creates an area for shallow entry and there are lots of watercraft to keep the entire family entertained. Fantastic location and lake

Wonderful cottage, fantastic lake, beautiful area...hard to fault anything. We had a fantastic time during our stay. Beds were comfortable and the cottage was very well-equipped cottage. Great privacy with a beautiful setting. We prefer Haliburton over Muskoka because of the less developed lakes, more rolling countryside and less developed lakes. It feels like real cottage country in Haliburton, Muskoka is just too busy and feels far too pretentious these days. We had a great time and will be coming back.

Everything about this cottage (house) was fabulous. It totally lived up to its pictures and hype. It was spacious, clean, well equipped, well decorated and charming. The lake is calm and beautiful, complete with a regular pair of loons close by. The location was good, offered privacy, far from the madding crowd, and close enough to Haliburton for groceries. The roads leading to the cottage were also very good. We are already talking of going back next summer. The only thing the granite shores could use is steps to the dock rather than just an incline.
