Charming, old fashioned 3 bedroom log cabin offering the ideal traditional cottage experience. Great privacy. Satellite TV. Well equipped kitchen. Outdoor fire pit. BBQ. Paddleboat. Canoe. Kayak. Northern exposure with 150' of private waterfront, including two lakeside deck area's, plus a deep water dock. Clear, clean, weed-free swimming. Shallow entry with sand/stone bottom. Beach starts to appear late August. One 4-pc washroom and a sun room that can be used as a 4th bedroom.

Back again for the 7th time. Cottage is basic but clean and has everything you need. Best feature for us is the location, lake and waterfront- all are fantastic.

While this cottage is not luxurious it has everything our family needs to be comfortable and enjoy the holiday. We love the lake and how we can trip to all around it and explore. The property is not suitable for anyone who has disabilities like a bad knee or heart condition but if everyone's in good shape, the up/down terrain is not a problem as it is very safe and well maintained. This was our second year here and we hope to return.

The cottage itself is basic but has all you need. Best features are the lake and the location on the lake. Very quiet and great for swimming and boating.

This cottage had amazing views of Big Hawk Lake and we really enjoyed that it is a traditional cottage. The cottage itself was roomy and the the property was extremely private. The new lower deck / dock area was very nice for sitting at as was the upper deck by the kitchen. It was a bit challenging getting down to the dock area as the steps were uneven with no railing - may be something to mention as a limitation. Overall we did thoroughly enjoy this cottage - the week flew by!

This was our fifth summer at Hawk's Eye and it feels like home! The privacy, excellent shore and water and perfectly appointed cottage ticks all of our boxes! Can't wait until next summer!

Great spot, lots of construction happening so little noisy this year but otherwise another great vacation. We bring our own boat but thought we should mention the rowboat there leaks just an fyi if the owners weren't aware.

This was our 4th year at Hawk's Eye and it truly gets better every year! The location and property are outstanding. Each year the owners add improvements that really add to the experience. It is an old cabin but outfitted with all the amenities and always spottlessly clean. The late is beautiful and great for swimming and boating.
We definitely plan to return next summer (2021) for the first two weeks in August.
