We just came home from a week at this lovely spot! Everything was so clean and comfy and the lake was gorgeous. My kids had a blast with all the equipment and the movie selection for a rainy day. Highly recommend!

This Cottage was immaculate. The the decor and furniture was modern and up-to-date. The kitchen had beautiful wood cupboards with granite countertops and was well stocked with everything you would need to prepare meals. My favorite part was the dishwasher! So nice to have when you have a large group and everyone wants to relax.
The beds were clean and the mattresses were very comfortable.
There were a fair number of steps down to the dock but they were well-maintained and well-lit at night.
The doc is spacious with room for at least six chairs. There are plenty of watercraft available for leisure activities. Two canoes, a paddle boat, two kayaks and two stand up paddle boards.
This is a lovely home for an enjoyable Family Vacation!

Enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage was very clean and well supplied. The owners were so thoughtful to leave us a pretty bouquet of flowers and a bottle of wine upon our arrival. Such a nice touch which meant a lot. If I had to pick any negatives, it would just be that the tv didn't work which we could have used for those rainy nights and that proximity to next door neighbours was very close. Otherwise we had a great time and would consider going back (hopefully there will be a new tv by next year).

Clean, lots of upgrades, personal welcome was a nice touch. A lovely living space. Waterfront deck and toys were the highlight of our stay. Kids had a fantastic time on the water carpet, water was warm and clean, fishing was fruitful. All in all, a great place.

Our family, grandparents, parents, children had a lovely week at Hemlock Haven. We all enjoyed the spacious dock and the many water toys. The cottage was clean and cozy. 71 steps from the cottage to the dock kept us all in good shape. The kitchen was well supplied for our meal prep needs.
Just a couple of things that were a little challenging. Several of the beds had very thin mattress pads and were very uncomfortable for sleeping. The bedrooms were so small that we had to move the bed to close the door and then we could not get into the chest of drawers to get our clothes. However our week was delightful. Thanks for sharing your cottage.

We had a wonderful week at the Hemlock Haven cottage. The photos don't do this cottage justice- we were so thrilled when we arrived to really see how big, clean, modern and cozy this cottage is. We all had our own bedrooms that were private and good sized- nice and dark for sleeping. The eating area was large and plenty of room at the dining table as well as the gazebo. The appliances all worked well and we had all of the equipment we needed ie; toaster, kettle etc. We loved all of the water toys, swimming was perfect for little kids as we could jump off the dock with life jackets. The cottage was full of surprises- Where's Waldo books, Trivia games, MANY board games, and lots of interesting books for all ages. We had a great fire at the fire pit in the evenings. We were really happy we booked at Hemlock and would definitely return again in the future.
Only negative thing to say was that the stairs up to the cottage after a good swim are pretty tiring even to someone who is physically fit. We were in close proximity to the neighboring cottages so at times when playing card games/board games inside in the evening with the windows open we felt we needed to be mindful of volume even indoors.
