We had a blast at this cottage. It is very private which we loved. The cottage itself is beautiful and spacious. Very clean. Huge bedrooms. Loved the pool. Basement has so many options at night and on rainy days. Great times! Highly recommend.

Lots of privacy. Cottage is very clean. Great if you don't like the sun. Trees blocked out most of the sun for the whole cottage except for a couple hours each day therefore pool was too cool to swim in.
A little too shady for us Hoped to have lots of pool time and relax in the sun but didn't get much of that at all.
Agree with others that pool could use heater.
The pool wasn't cleaned when arrived but owner acted immediately but it took to 4th day to get water nice and clear.
Cottage is well stocked with most everything for kitchen use.

This lovely vacation home has a serene forest setting, ample space and nice wraparound screened-in porch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The cottage, location and privacy was great. We had a great time around the pool and fire pit. There are many things to do in the area including Sir Sam park, Haliburton cafes and hiking trails.
My only suggestion to the owner is to add a heating mechanism for the pool to make it more usable.
All and all a great cottage. Thanks

All-Season Cottage Rentals' Response:
Thank you for your review. We greatly appreciate it.

We had a great time, everyone loved the pool and we used it everyday. There was lots of room for all of us including 2 little ones. Plenty of bathrooms, big kitchen, loved the games room. The whole vacation was enjoyable. First couple of days was cool so the pool cooled down, not everyone got into the pool those days lol, a solar heater may help, pool temp was 18-22 Celsius. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Our 3 generation family had a wonderful time and were sad when we had to leave. We all enjoyed the pool even if the water is rather icy. We loved the privacy in the woods and still being so close to town for groceries, restaurants, etc. The beds were comfortable so we all slept very well. We explored the area, went to the farmers' market and had a great time visiting the huskies and the wolf centre in Haliburton Forest. We highly recommend Baked and Battered which serves delicious breakfasts and fish and chips. They have several GF options!

First time we have stayed in a cottage not located on a river or lake and it was fantastic. Amazing privacy but only a few minutes from town. We enjoyed Tree Top dining in the screened in porch, there is so many activities ( toys) included for the entire family to enjoy and we spent many hours in the pool.
Such a great pace to unwind and get away from the rat race. Also great for bird watching and curling up with a good book. Although we like to try a different cottage and location every year our family would certainly recommend this cottage and we look forward to returning there someday. Thanks very much for sharing this hidden gem.

Thank you for sharing your cottage with me and my family we had a wonderful time the kids and adults enjoyed lounging by the clean well kept pool from morning till night. The cabin was beautiful and built with warmth and charm. It had a little of everything to keep the kids entertained with horseshoes pool table and to keep away from the bugs at night the screened porch where we played cards every night was an added bonus. Thank you Diane for making all the arrangements and instructions so easy and informative. Would definitely love to return in the future!
