Marcus Beach is a fractional ownership community with 19 cottages along 4,000' of lakefront on 38 acres of land. Each cottage has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with a queen sized bed in 2 of the rooms. The bed configuration in the 3rd bedroom may have either 2 sets of bunks or 2 double beds. Tennis court. Sports field. Skating rink. Bikes. Paddleboat. Canoe. Kayak. Stand up paddle boards. All units have internet, some units accept pets. Located 25 minutes from ski hill.

We had a wonderful time at the Haliburton Cottages over the Victoria Day long weekend. The cottage area came with loads of amenities including a fire pit, hiking trails, beautiful lake nearby, and lots of sports equipment (i.e.: kayaks, canoes, mountain bikes, tennis courts, etc.), which meant that we spent most of our time enjoying the outdoors. The one thing that was a bit of a nuisance was that the garbage and recycling area were so far away from the cottage. As a result, we had to make several trips back and forth to put away all of the rubbish. Overall we had a wonderful weekend away at the cottage and would definitely recommend this place again to all of our friends and family!!

We consider Marcus Beach "our summer home for a week". After renting on this property for over 45 years as the old Edgewater Beach, we feel very fortunate to be returning to Marcus Beach. We would like to rent as often as a week is up for sale . Thank you for contacting us when a renter puts their week up.

The cottage was very clean, well equipped and the location was fantastic. Our kids had a fantastic time and the playground, trails and the multiple beaches and docks kept everyone busy and having fun. Would highly recommend this cottage for a relaxing week off.

Great location, quiet part of the lake and clean, well-kept, spacious cottages. Lots to do.
Only complaint would be having to do laundry and dishes before leaving, makes the last morning awfully busy with no time to enjoy the outdoors.
Regardless would highly recommend!
