AS STATED THIS IS A LOVELY ROOMY, CLEAN 5 BEDROOM, 3 BATHROOM COTTAGE ON A GREAT LAKE. LOVED THE PRIVACY ABOUT A KILOMETER FROM A CONVENIENCE STORE NEAR THE JUNCTION OF HWY'S 118 & 35 AND A COUPLE OF GOOD RESTAURANTS.. WONDERFUL LARGE DECK WITH A SOUTHERN VIEW OF 12 MILE LAKE AND 30 STEPS TO A LAKE PATIO.
IF WE WOULD PROVIDE ONE CRITIQUE IT WOULD BE THAT THE COTTAGE IS LOCATED RIGHT AT THE NARROWS TO LITTLE BOSHKUNG LAKE WHICH ATTRACTED A LOT OF HIGH SPEED BOAT TRAFFIC AND NOISE PARTICULARLY ON WEEKENDS. WITH THE LEVEL OF BOAT WAKE A MORE SUBSTANTIAL DOCK WOULD BE AN IMPROVEMENT.
OUR EXPERIENCE WITH THE PROPERTY MANAGER "ALL SEASON COTTAGE RENTALS" WAS RESPONSIVE AND EXCELLENT.

Shimmering Shores cottage provided us with exactly what we were seeking for our family summer holiday. The cottage layout provided each family with room for privacy, but also gathering spaces for dinners and movie nights. Much time was spent on the back porch listening to the loons and gazing across the sparkly lake. Clean and set back from the road so quiet. Kitchen was equipped with all that we needed. Close to several day trip locations. Highly recommend this lovely spot.

Clean, comfortable beds, lots of room, excellent Wi-fi service, great swimming. A beautiful and well equipped home on an excellent swimming lake. The only minor flaw is a significant amount of motorized boat traffic on the weekends, but it didn’t interfere with our enjoyment.
