Thank you for sharing this beautiful piece of heaven with our family. The setting was spectacular. The cottage was immaculate and suited all our needs. It reminded me of a tree house! We spent most our time on the docks, swimming for hours, reading and enjoying a cup of tea. The screened porch was an oasis for board games and breakfast. We could not ask for a more beautiful calm setting. A true holiday for my four kids, my husband and I. Unforgettable!

You could not ask for a better "cottage" and I have rented and owned quite a few. Incredibly well equipped. It has the most amazing deck that I have ever seen except for one in Kenora. The one drawback is that you cannot see the lake from the deck. This is likely a cottage association rule since most of the lake is the same. Personally I think this is dumb. There is no television connection so you can only watch movies. We got over this in about ten minutes. Except for the lack of lake view I would not hesitate to return; that is why you go to the lake-to see it. Well, swimming and boating too.

We have not been to such a beautiful cottage oasis in all of our years of renting!! From the exceptional gourmet kitchen to the stunning stone hearth to the careful thoughtful and wonderful decorating throughout - WE LOVE IT!!! We adored the music system and the gorgeous screened room saved us from the bugs (which really weren't all that bad!). We can't wait to come back and enjoy some more sunshine on the deck and the dock :) Thanks for a great weekend! (Copied from hand written note left by the Sedlaks)

You couldn't want for anything more. It was a great place to stay with lots of room for two families, not to mention two comfy hammocks to fight over. Screened in eating area was perfect. Lake was a tad cold but "very refreshing" according to my five year old. Great vacation!

Paradise!

Highly recommended! The only hesitation in writing this review is that others are going to find out about this piece of paradise and then there won't be any availability for us. We will be going back every summer. The kids had a great time and haven't stopped talking about it since our last stay. We had originally booked for a week in July and had a couple of weeks of vacation in August when we were planning on going down to Florida. We ended up canceling our Florida trip and booking another week at the cottage. There's also Lots of wild life - we saw deer, herons, loons, wild turkeys...the kids had a blast catching minnows, swimming, canoeing and paddle boating. You won't be disappointed!
