Love the screened room and cozy cottage feel. Lake water is clean and refreshing. Enjoyed the beautiful sunsets from the dock

Great setup for a larger group, lots of space inside as well as lots of options outside to get sun, shade, and swim. Allowed for us to spread out or group together depending on the day and activities. Water was comfortable and clean enough to jump off the dock and swim through the bay without encountering weeds or other surprises. Very calm in our area and small lake, making it easy for non-motorized water sports and exploration. Would recommend.

Sunrise Bay is a great choice for a family vacation. Lots of space, table/dining seating, couches etc. Kitchen is well-equipped. Lots of seating around the firepit as well. And there's a lovely view of the water from the living room and outside deck. Some of the amenities were not readily accessible, but with a little digging in the shed, we found most of what was listed. There are a few items that need refreshing (e.g. the patio umbrella, a couple of dining chairs - backs had been damaged by the renters prior to us apparently, and the aluminum boat is showing its age), but overall a nice family spot. We plan to go back!

The cottage was clean and exactly the size and layout we were looking for especially with the extra screened in eating and sitting area. There were seven of us from ages 11 to 70 and we loved kayaking, canoeing, fishing and swimming off the dock. We also enjoyed taking photographs of the beautiful scenery and birds. Haliburton was within a 20 minute drive. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes, pots, pans, strainers etc to cook pretty much any meal. Beautiful views out both the top and bottom levels. Newly renovated bathrooms and laundry room with heated floors were a pleasant surprise.
