The Cabin, Haliburton Lake

Great cottage experience. Not a luxury resort, but everything was cleaned and very well maintained. The owners were next door, so very accessible, and helpful without being intrusive. We definitely recommend The Cabin

This was our second stay at the cabin, it’s wonderful place, it has kayaks 2 of them , peddle boat, canoe, hammock, games for rainy days, movies, a fire pit and the best part 2 muskoka chairs on the dock. The sun seemed to hide behind the trees, and it was a cooler, rainy week but we still managed to relax and unwind and enjoy some much needed family time. We also caught several fish. The dock is right near the sand where you can walk-in and go for a swim. The owners are truly friendly and if you need anything a phone call away. Just a heads up there is no cell service at this location,. A place I would return to. It has everything you need in the kitchen to make your amazing dinner. Thanks to all seasons, this is now our third time using your service and we have not been disappointed!

Lots of amazing things to do from kayak, to peddle boating, to swimming to fishing , or just sitting in the kozy muskoka chairs! If it’s raining there is lots of games and movies to watch .. lots of great memories to be had. There is a sandy section to get in the water. The dock is pretty shady, sun does come out at certain times of the day. Tends to hide behind some trees but when it’s out it’s beautiful! The fires pits and hammock is a bonus. The owners are super friendly and helpful! The cabin is cozy and homey! It has everything you need in a kitchen! Enjoyed our stay!

What a wonderful stay. The cottage is lovely and sits beside a secluded bay with a dock complete with Muskoka Chairs to enjoy a cocktail by the lake. Paddle boat, kayaks, a rowboat and a canoe ensure to keep you busy. Inside on a rainy day there are games to keep you busy. The no cell service was a shock but helped ensure lots of great family time. Already looking forward to next year.

We rented "The Cabin" for the last week of July/2018. It was a family holiday for us all so that my grandchildren can get out of the city and have fun at the lake. The cottage exceeded my expectations in every way... The location was perfect and on a fabulous piece of cottage lakefront property. Massive white pines...great beach for the kids and super swimming area with a sand bottom. My 3 year old grandson spent most of his days jumping off the dock and learned more there in 1 week than he has in weeks of swimming lessons in the city. The cottage itself was great and had every convenience needed. I have rented before and have been disappointed with things like frying pans...utensils...knives...etc., but not the case here. Everything was top notch. If you are looking at The Cabin as a possibility for a holiday, don't hesitate. If you do...someone else will take your spot!! Many thanks for a great holiday. We really enjoyed out stay at 'the Cabin'. The two youngsters in our group had a wonderful time playing in the sandy beach area as well as the gradual water access. It brought about an amazing change in swimming abilities. We made good use of the paddle boat, the kayak and all the amenities of the well equipped and comfy Cabin. Overall it was an excellent Family get together with wonderful memories. A big Thank You goes out to Larry and Judy for your warm welcome and visits.

The Cabin was perfect. It made us feel like we were living in nature. The woods and the lake gave us exactly what we were looking for.

We had a lovely time, the cottage is well furnished and very clean, We really enjoyed the use of the kayaks and paddleboat. The dock is very nice and love sitting there. The only thing that was botersome were the mosquitos that were very active in June.
