This 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage is a rare find. Small and affordably priced yet it offers unlimited internet and satellite reception for the TV. The cottage interior is new with ceiling fans in the upstairs rooms. Propane fireplace. There is a large, flat yard behind and in front of the cottage. Cross the cottage access road to get to the waterfront. There is shallow entry into the lake from a small sand beach and a large dock that runs out from the lakeside deck. BBQ. Paddleboat. Hot tub.

Second time going here! The house is great, it had everything we needed.
The lake is gorgeous, the new deck looks great and it’s perfect to get you out to the nicer part of the water.

We were up attending classes at the Haliburton School of Art and Design. Gone all day and needed a cottage mostly for relaxing in the evening and this was a great spot.

I had a wonderful time enjoying the beautiful autumn scenery with family and friends during camping. The evening campfire, hot tub, and fishing by the lake were fantastic, creating memorable experiences for the kids. The cottage, equipped with DVDs, a projector screen, and internet, kept the children entertained. Planning to revisit in the upcoming winter, the two days in the spacious and comfortable cottage became unforgettable autumn memories.

We had such a great time in this cottage! Everything is just as advertised.
The place is equipped with everything you might need: a fully stocked kitchen, digital entertainment, hot tub, garden, and fire pit... We had to do some remote work from home, unfortunately, but the internet access was perfectly fast and reliable.
Access to the lake and the deck down by the lakeshore was very convenient.
The owner, who lives nearby, was very helpful and super nice.
The area is so convenient, so many little places to go to in Haliburton, Carnavaron, and Minden. The brewery (boshkung) and the restaurant (rhubarb) are so close!
this was a great value for money and we would come back any day!

Cottage was great size for 1 to 2 couples. Lots of amenities.
The Hot Tub and large deck was a plus. Would recommend a gate at the staircase to keep
In dogs or small children. The pallet was helpful in a pinch.
Owners were friendly and helpful.
Great view of the lake and loved the Sunrises.
Working on a new dock and staircase. But you had access to the beach.

We enjoyed our stay at Twisted Maple this October. The colour of the leaves were breathtaking. The cottage is inviting & cozy and situated in a great location for a short drive to Haliburton or Minden. We enjoyed our day trips and also enjoyed just relaxing on the front deck or in the hot tub. It was a pleasure to meet Richard ( owner) and when ever we have the opportunity to see Boston play hockey we will think of his uncle and smile. All in all we would say Great place & Great people!

Cottage offered all the amenities that you’re looking for. Overlooking the lake, hot tub, projection TV, WI-FI, ability to accept Dogs. Wrap around deck and backyard for a fire pit.
Clean and with three bedrooms works comfortably with 4 adults.
