Ideal family retreat on Haliburton Lake! This recently renovated cottage offers a unique set-up and an incredible waterfront. The 'main side' of the cottage is fully insulated welcoming guests four seasons of the year. It has three bedrooms (each with a Double bed), 4PC washroom, kitchen and living room. The 'main side' of the cottage is heated via propane furnace during the cooler months. From the kitchen, you can walk into the covered breezeway with large screened windows on two sides. There is a second fridge available in the breezeway, as well as lovely conversation set. From the far end of the breezeway, you can access two additional bedrooms, as well as a 2 PC washroom (cold water only), in the '3-season' wing of the cottage. The '3-season' wing is available between May long weekend and Thanksgiving weekend, and have electric 240V heaters installed for those cooler Spring/Fall nights. During the winter, the '3-season' side of the cottage is closed down, so there will only be three bedrooms/one washroom available over the winter. The cottage itself is situated on a level lot with grass lawn and Northern exposure. Down by the lake relax and enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail on the large lakeside deck. There is a large table/chair set to enjoy meals on the lakeside deck as well. The cottage offers excellent deep water swimming from the dock, or wade in from the sand/pebble beach. Kids will LOVE the floating lily pad! For those that need to remain connected during their vacation, the cottage boasts Starlink internet providing reliable high speed internet with unlimited data usage.

Limitations
- From mid-October to mid-May, only three bedrooms in main cottage are available reducing max occupancy to 4 adults, or 6 including children.

This is a really nice cottage. The layout/ space worked out well for our group of 10. The room betweeen the main cottage and 3 season wing provided good privacy for people who liked to sleep in. Since there’s no cell signal in the area the Starlink internet was great, very reliable. Kitchen was spacious, clean and fully loaded with enough utensils and plates for everyone. Also had non stick pans that were actually useable and knives that can actually cut. Lots of fridge space. Table large enough for all to eat at the same time.
Fishing off the dock was great! Lots of bass in the lake. Dock was nice and spacious. Really nice to sit out there for a morning coffee or just to relax. Use of the boat house to store fishing gear and water toys was a plus. The kids loved playing on the lily pad.

The cottage was great. It was clean with all the amenities. The water and dock were everything we needed for the children. The swing was a welcome surprise and the kids enjoyed their time. The only negative is the lack of storage in the bedrooms. I would suggest putting in drawers under the bed or shelves on the wall for clothing.
We will book again!

Most enjoyable fireplace and dock with all the chairs and lounges. Beds were so comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils and other supplies. We loved the giant crib board. Cleanliness was top notch. The swing was a bonus!

A great holiday was had for the whole family. They thought of everything required. Very well kept and clean! Beautiful sitting areas in the cottage and down on the dock. Amazing views on Lake Haliburton. So close to outings for gas or ice-cream.

We just got back from an amazing week at the Westbay Getaway. The cottage was spacious for 6 (4 adults and 2 kids and a dog). It had everything we needed and more. The highlite of this cottage as the waterfront. The deck was large and the water was clear and clean for swimming. Fishing off the dock at night was a bonus (Sm catfish, bass). The large boathouse you could store everything at night so you're not lugging everything up all the time - plus having a mini fridge for drinks & snacks was a bonus. Inside, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with all the tools you'd need and the living space was comfortable if you happen to be inside. We lucked out and had great weather so weren't inside much. Went into Haliburton (about a 25 minute drive) on tuesday for the farmers market and stocked up on some fresh fruits/vegs as well as some delicous treats. Dump site is only a 2 minute drive down the road and the marina around the bend (4 minute drive) has everything you need if you run out. We would rent here again for sure!

We arrived just in time for an area power outage, and our kind host sprang into action with a generator that we used to cook dinner. It was a neat way to begin—dinner by candlelight. We had a great week and the cottage was very comfortable.
