White Shadows, Shadow Lake
- 3 bedrooms (1 Queen, 1 Double, 2 Single)
- Bath: one 3 pc (with shower)
- Water: From the lake (not potable)
- CKL Municipal STR License #STR2024-25
This cottage delivers the quintessential "traditional" cottaging experience! Situated steps from the water, the cottage features three bedrooms, one 3 PC washroom, full kitchen, comfortable living room and wonderful sunroom. With western exposure, you will enjoy sun all day and spectacular sunsets. There is shallow entry into the water with a sand/stone bottom that gets softer as you go out deeper. The dock is adequate for docking up to a 17' boat with outboard motor (too shallow for boats with an inboard drive). If you don't have a boat, no problem! You will enjoy use of one canoe, as well as two kayaks! **NEW FOR 2023 - THIS COTTAGE NOW HAS INTERNET AND SMART TV!**

The cottage had many amenities - games, kayaks, canoe, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and had a terrific view of the lake. We spent early mornings in the spacious sunroom that had a super lake view. It was nice to have the Wifi but it had difficulty handling multiple devices and reception was spotty - needs to be upgraded. We also enjoyed sitting at the dining table as it had a direct view of the lake. The dock was adequate, however, a swim ladder would be a great improvement. The water was clear and usually calm. Families of ducks were frequent visitors. Motor boats were directed to a channel outside of the bay, making it more peaceful.

From the moment we walked in the door we felt comfortable and right at home. This cottage has a great layout for the 3 bedrooms as everyone felt they had their own little private wing. It was clean and tidy with a Fantastic view from the dining table. We loved being nestled in the small cove which allowed us privacy and we really enjoyed the loons, ducks and Blue Heron that came to visit every day. The dock is great to walk on as it is stationary and worked perfectly to tie up the pontoon boat we rented. All in All we had a great time on Shadow Lake and really enjoyed our stay. Thank you f

The cottage was spacious, clean, and really comfortable. Lots of windows and light. There’s no internet access but plenty of board games, since we came to disconnect anyway we had an excellent time. The water has a clay bottom and can feel sticky, highly recommend water shoes. There was a family of loons that came by daily as well as ducks.
