Cottage is very close (5 minutes) to Town, we had an excellent stay and owners were very responsive to texts.enjoyed boating and other outdoor activities.
It would be appreciated if they can add couple of wine and whiskey glasses, also to upgrade the speed of internet

We had a fabulous time at Winders Last Resort. The cottage was super clean and had all we needed. We absolutely loved the set up with the kitchen and living space all on the walk out portion of the cottage. The outdoor space was wonderful and has very nice furniture as well.The property is beautiful and private. April Winder was great and communicated with me as to what we needed during these crazy times. The staff at All Season Cottage Rentals were also amazing and very helpful. I would highly recommend this cottage. Thanks to all!

This is the second year that we rented Winders Last Resort.
We thoroughly enjoyed the property and cottage along with all it's amenities. The location being close to Haliburton made it perfect.
The trail system through the back of the cottage was great for long walks and shallow entry into the lake with sandy beach was awesome.
The only one comment is that the privacy was only average with neighbors fairly close on both sides.
We hope to return for the third time in 2021.

I only have a few short comments re our stay. Firstly, the lock box was not where the notes said it would be. When we finally found it we then had to figure out how to use it. We are not in real estate but did eventually get it!
Secondly, we did not find a dust pan. Perhaps there was a central vac outlet for taking the swept stuff?
As seniors we found the stairs hard to navigate - but the younger ones had no problem at all. The outside grounds were also steep and challenging for us seniors but, again, the younger ones were ok.
Other than the few minor inconveniences, we enjoyed our week. The whether was fabulous,

We have been renting with All Season Cottages for over 15 years in the Haliburton region and Winders Last Resort was one of our best experiences overall.
The cottage is nicely renovated and love the lake with its close proximity to the town of Haliburton and hiking trails.
The privacy was not as great as others we rented but everything else made up for this fact.
We had a wonderful time and hope to be able rent again in 2020.

We had a fantastic family vacation at this resort-like cottage. Beautifully renovated with all the conveniences that a family of six could ask for. Our children were very excited when they found kayaks and stand-up paddle boards that they could use for our stay. The lot was great with the flat grassy lawn and shallow entry into the water with the sandy beach which was great for our young children.
We are very excited to return next summer!
