The perfect destination for a large family with young children, sleeps up to 15. The main cottage has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. There are 2 additional bedrooms, 1 bathroom in "The Outback" (apartment attached to the garage) along with a recreation area and pool table. A second Bunkie provides even more sleeping space with a Queen and two Single beds. This cottage is conveniently located on Canning Lake, which is part of the 5-lake chain that runs between Haliburton and Minden. There is lots to keep the whole family entertained including a beach volley-ball, horseshoes, basketball, bocce-ball, kids swing. Sand beach. Water slide. Paddleboat. Kayak (2).

There were 9 of us here and we LOVED this place. We've rented over 15 cottages over the years and it's definitely top three. They have everything - so many spaces to hang out, comfy furniture, inside, outside, a great dock, a slide, excellent diving off there. And it's all in a mellow channel that means all boats passing by are going 10km/hr. I think this place is way better than the photos suggest and when we have another big group we'll definitely try to rent it.

This is our 9th summer booking cottages with All-Season Cottage Rentals and the second year that we've taken the whole family to Wright 's Place and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We are a large group ranging in age from 11 to 70 and Wright Place accommodates us beautifully. Everything is exactly as described and more. The cottage is beautiful and the property provides all the water and land activities that any family would want. Thank you so much for yet another week of wonderful family memories!

We have been coming to Wright’s Place for 3 years now and will continue to do so yearly! Our family of 14 ranges in age from 2 years old to 65 years old and it is perfect for everyone! Sandy beach and shallow water entry as well as deep water swimming off the dock. Lots of amenities from pool table, water slide, kayaks, canoe, trampoline, playground and more. We have never been disappointed!

My family and I have been renting for several years now and this is by far our favourite spot. So many amenities: trampoline, volleyball, playgrounds, water slide... our kids were in paradise (ages 0-6). The waterfront is great and it was perfect to have shallow sand entry as well as dock entry into the lake. We couldn’t have asked for anything better and it definitely lives up to its pictures and descriptions.

We went back to Wright's Place for a second summer. It is a fabulous location for a large group. It has everything you would ever need in a cottage and more. It is great for boaters as well with the adjoining lakes. The three buildings gives lots of space for sleeping. Lots of areas to sit outside as well. Kayaks and paddle boat were well used to. Great fishing.

We rented this cottage to celebrate my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. They truly thought of everything. We had to stick to 10 people at a time because of Covid 19 but can easily accommodate many more! The cottage appeals you little ones and those who like to dive in off the dock. The paddle boat and kayaks came in handy as well. There are enough chairs and tables outside that we all could have had our own table. The beds are comfortable and lots of room inside if the weather turns bad. We will definitely rent this cottage again!

Wrights place had everything our group of 10 could ask for. Multiple play areas for our 3 and 5 year old grandsons, plenty of seating all over the property and they have thought of all the little things from roasting sticks by the camp fire to the water area blocked off for the kids with noodles. The buildings themselves were also excellent. The master suite is HUGE and so nice. We love to BBQ and this cottage has a Napolean BBQ and it doesn't get any better. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.

We didn't know what to expect. Normally the photos look better than the real thing, in this case it was the exact opposite. We were all very impressed with the cottage and even more with the grounds and amenities offered. the age span was from 3 to 75 and every last one of us had a fabulous time. We all agreed that we'd love to go back again in the future.
Barb the owner was absolutely terrific and very accommodating.
