Winter Adventures at Haliburton Sculpture Forest

Winter is a magical time at the Sculpture Forest, with the hiking trails transformed into a wonderland for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.

  • Snowshoeing: Put on your snowshoes and explore the snowy trails that wind past sculptures as well as marked trails north of the Highlands Museum. If you don’t have your own snowshoes, pick up free rentals at the museum!

  • Nordic Skiing: Purchase a trail pass and start your cross-country skiing adventure on trails for every skill level. Keep in mind the 13.5km of trails are lit up, so you can continue to ski after the sun sets.

Spring, Summer, & Fall Activities

Spring, summer, and fall offer walking trails, guided tours, mountain biking trails, and the annual downtown sculpture exhibit. Refer to this map of the sculpture forest to learn more about where to find the art in the woods.
