Tragedy can strike anyone, anywhere, anytime. Our booking contract has a ‘no cancellation’ clause so it’s important to consider purchasing “cottage rental cancellation insurance” when you apply to rent your Ontario vacation home.
If you don’t purchase cottage rental cancellation insurance and need to cancel, we will put your week back on the calendar and do our best to re-book the Haliburton cottage. If we get the cottage re-booked, we’ll refund your money less a cancellation fee. If we’re unable to get the cottage re-booked, we wouldn’t be able to refund your payment.
If there is even a remote chance that you might need to cancel your booking, please seriously consider purchasing cottage rental cancellation insurance.
