How to Book
First, choose the perfect cottage for your vacation.
This is the fun part! Spend some time browsing through our Ontario cottage rental listings and select a few cottages that pique your interest. Use the ‘quick search’ feature to simplify your search. When you find a Haliburton cottage that interests you, click on the cottage picture to access a detailed profile for that property.
Each cottage profile provides a wealth of information. You can do a virtual tour of the Haliburton cottage, see a detailed inventory of what the cottage has to offer, view our map to see where the lake is located, check out the calendar to see which dates are available, and some properties have a YouTube video showing additional details of the Haliburton cottage property.
Fill out our On-line Application Form.
Click the “BOOK NOW” button which appears on the cottage profile page to access the on-line application. When you submit your application, a “thank-you” screen will appear.
If you would prefer to work with a hard copy of the application, please call and we will send by email.
Payment option discount
We offer a 4% discount if you pay by cheque, money order, or interac e-transfer. Just click the box beside payment options if you prefer to pay by means other than credit card and your discount will automatically be calculated.
Once your application has been received
Our office will contact you to confirm the details of your booking within 1 business day. Booking details will be reviewed before we process your deposit. If you opt to pay by credit card, we will charge the deposit to your credit card (the amount indicated on the application), and then email a booking confirmation to you. The balance due will automatically be charged to your credit card 30 days before the beginning of your vacation.
If you opt to pay by cheque, we require (2) cheques. Use today’s date for the first cheque since it is the deposit (amount indicated on the application) and a second cheque post-dated 30 days before the beginning of your vacation for the balance due.
You will receive a detailed Haliburton cottage information package (via email) ten days before the beginning of your vacation. The package will contain an Information Sheet, Household Rules (which include emergency phone numbers), a map to the cottage, and directions for accessing the key. If you haven’t received your information package by the Tuesday before your holiday, give our office a call. We’ll be happy to send you another copy.
