1. Choose Your Perfect Cottage
This is the fun part! Browse our Haliburton cottage rental listings to find the getaway that fits your style.
Use the Search Tool on our homepage to start your search, then narrow things down even further using the Advanced Filters on the results page.
❤️ Save your favourites: As you explore, add any cottages that catch your eye to your Favourites list to keep them handy.
✨ Browse by interest: You can also explore cottages by Collection or by nearby activities and attractions directly from our homepage.

Complete our short Cottage Match Questionnaire and we’ll hand-pick a curated list of cottages that perfectly fit your group’s needs—saving you time and helping you find your ideal getaway.
2. Submit a Booking Request
Once you’ve found the one, it’s time to book!
On the right-hand side of the cottage listing, enter your desired dates, number of guests, and pets (if applicable) to view a detailed cost summary.
If everything looks good, click “Book Now” to access the booking page. You’ll be prompted to enter some basic details for the main applicant before submitting your booking request.
💡 No payment is required at this stage.
3. Complete Your Rental Application
After submitting your booking request, you’ll receive an email with a link to our online application form and rental agreement.
Your chosen cottage will be tentatively placed on hold for 48 hours while you complete the form and agree to our Rental Terms & Conditions.
To secure your booking, please complete your application as soon as possible.
Our team will review it and follow up within one business day if we have any questions.
4. Payment Options
Once your application has been accepted, we’ll send you payment instructions to complete your reservation.

Visa or MasterCard (subject to a 2.4% processing fee)
💳 To pay by credit card, simply check the “Credit Card Processing Fee” box on the booking page before submitting your request.
🔒 Damage deposit: A valid Visa or MasterCard is required on file in lieu of a cash damage deposit.

35% deposit due upon acceptance of your application

Remaining balance due 30 days before arrival
If you’re paying by e-Transfer, we’ll send you a friendly reminder before the due date.
If paying by credit card, your balance will be charged automatically 30 days prior to check-in.
Once your deposit has been received, you’ll receive your official booking confirmation by email.
5. Final Confirmation & Cottage Information
After your booking is confirmed and paid in full, we’ll send you a detailed cottage information package and an invite to our Guest Portal.
There, you can access everything you need for your stay — from arrival instructions to local recommendations.
6. Enjoy Your Holiday!
That’s it! Your Haliburton Highlands getaway is booked — now it’s time to relax, unwind, and start counting down the days to your lakeside escape.
