Esson Creek Maple
Esson Creek is a family-run Ontario maple syrup operation that utilizes state-of-the-art production methods using reverse osmosis, wood-fire evaporation, and a filtration press. Located in Wilberforce, Esson Creek's team is passionate about their craft and offers samples, sales, and tours. And for you rockhounds out there, they also have an impressive collection of minerals.
Winterdance Maple Syrup
Notable mostly for their dog sledding tours, the folks over at Winterdance seem to know a thing or two about Ontario maple syrup as well. With 2000 taps equipped with gravity-powered pipelines, the Winterdance sugar shack is roughly 300 feet below the bush! Although the processes are similar, Winterdance has turned maple syrup production from an art to a science.
