An ideal couples retreat or small family getaways where you can truly unplug, enjoy nature, and decompress. While it offers a quiet natural surround, newly installed Starlink Wi-Fi is available if you prefer to stay connected. The cottage features a lovely, clean, and spacious interior with a classic pine cottage ambiance, along with a functional vintage electric stove and oven. Outside, a gentle slope leads to a flat lot extending from the cottage to the dock. Boyne Lake is a peaceful non-motor lake; the shoreline remains in its natural state, making it ideal for wildlife spotting, though the shallow, soft lakebed extends from the shore to the end of the dock. No swimming from the dock due to vegetation and weeds. For those who prefer a traditional beach experience, a public sandy beach and boat launch on Drag Lake are just a seven-minute drive away.

During your stay, there are plenty of family-friendly activities to enjoy. Guests have access to a canoe, paddle boat, and lily pad, while nearby hiking trails, Haliburton Village, and Drag Lake provide additional opportunities for adventure. The lake itself offers excellent fishing, and evenings can be spent relaxing with board games, DVDs, or lawn games, followed by a campfire overlooking the water. The cottage comfortably sleeps six guests across three bedrooms and one bathroom and includes a spacious screened room for bug-free relaxation. Surrounded by nature, it offers a quiet, private setting, along with outdoor seating and a BBQ on the deck with beautiful lake views.
