Gorgeous cottage!

by ShirleyWe are a family of 9; 4 grandparents (2 from Australia), 2 parents, a 3 yr old and 1 year old twins. We are repeat renters but first time for this cottage. This was perfect for us! The level ground from the cottage to the water was a must for us older folk with some mobility issues. And the dock was a perfect place for fishing. The 3 year old used a branch and he no sooner put his worm in the water and a small fish was on. Catch and release only but very entertaining! The main floor was perfect for 2 very active 1 year olds. We put one safety gate up at the stairs and due to the open concept, it was safe for them to explore. The 2 bedrooms downstairs were perfect for grandparents, allowing the younger folks 3 bedrooms upstairs, one with an ensuite. The Screen Room was perfect for night time cards. Lots of water toys and life jackets were great. Plus the owners provided 2 playpens and 2 high chairs! The kitchen was well equipped, and loved the open concept! It was a little more expensive with the Luxury Collection, but we really appreciated the gifts the owners supplied as maple syrup and bottles of wine! No heavy cleaning or garbage removal at the end of the week was much appreciated with 3 little ones! Just a general tidy up was worth the extra money. We\'d love to return next year!
