The cottage comfortably sleeps up to six guests with a family-friendly layout featuring one Queen bedroom, one Double bedroom, and a bunk room perfect for kids. Inside, the open-concept living and dining area creates a comfortable space to gather after a day on the lake, while the well-equipped kitchen makes preparing cottage meals easy. High-speed Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and a smart TV provide modern convenience when it’s time to relax indoors.

Step outside to the elevated deck where you’ll feel surrounded by mature trees with glimpses of the lake through the forest. The gated deck offers added peace of mind for families with young children or pets.

A staircase with approximately 30 steps leads down to the waterfront where guests can enjoy a lakeside deck, floating dock, and fire pit for classic cottage evenings. Kushog Lake is known for its clean water and excellent swimming, and the dock provides weed-free deep water swimming. With northwest exposure, guests can enjoy all-day sun and beautiful Haliburton sunset views across the lake.

Spend your days exploring the lake by canoe or kayak, both provided for your stay, or simply relax by the water and enjoy the peaceful cottage setting that makes the Haliburton Highlands such a beloved cottage destination.

Please note: cottage water is not potable. Guests are asked to bring drinking water for use with the provided water cooler.
