Watson’s Place for the Win!

Been to Watson’s Place twice and definitely going back! We had a great time! The cottage is gorgeous! With a huge open concept kitchen, dining and tv area that leads out to a deck overlooking the dock and lake. The outside spaces are well maintained, with a storage area filled with tons of lake toys! We enjoy most the unique features of Percy Lake, like the two small islands right across from Watson’s Place. We’ve found lots of wildlife from frogs, fish and a family of loons living on the islands. There’s tons to explore if you’re into taking small day trips around the lake. But also a lot to do at the cottage! From jumping off the dock, to bonfires in the evening and looking at stars, Watson’s Place is truly a place where you get to unplug from the city and focus on being in the moment.

Love Percy lake!

Watson's Place is a lovely well equipped cottage, however there is no microwave which we (perpetual re-heaters) really missed. The view from the cottage and the deck is beautiful. The stairs were challanging for me as I am not young and for my toddler grandson. Don't rent this cottage if you are not prepared for a workout doing these steps several times a day. Percy lake is a gem! We love it as the bass fishing is superb.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Watson's Place on Percy Lake, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The cottage is beautifully maintained, offering a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home.The amenities are top-notch, with a well-equipped kitchen and spacious living areas perfect for relaxing. We especially loved spending time on the large dock, which was ideal for lounging, sunbathing, and fishing. The property also includes a variety of watercraft, which we made full use of. The canoe, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboard (SUP) were a lot of fun and allowed us to explore the lake and enjoy the tranquil surroundings from the water.The sandy beach was another highlight. With its clear, gentle water and soft sand, it was perfect for swimming and relaxing by the shore.Watson's Place is truly a gem, offering the perfect blend of comfort, adventure, and natural beauty. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a serene lakeside retreat. We can’t wait to return!
