OUTDOOR FEATURES
- Shallow entry shoreline with shallow depth ~3ft of water past the dock.
- Deep water swimming off the swim raft in ~15ft of water
- Two adult and two kids kayaks, canoe, row boat, lily pad and floating raft for endless enjoyment in Maple Lake!
- If you are bringing a boat, there is no ability to tie up at the dock (unless it is a small tin boat) due to low lake levels around the dock throughout the summer. There is the ability to tie up your boat to the mooring ball with 3ft of water below.
- North-west exposure – Capture spectacular sunset views from the dock or deck.
Please note: this is not a cottage you can cannon ball off the dock from! Waterfront can be very shallow, around 3ft (depending on time of year). We encourage all guests to use the swim raft for deeper swimming opportunities of roughly 15-18ft depth.

5-Star Experience
by Jennifer HThis cottage was truly a 5-star experience. From the moment we arrived until the very sad minute we left, we had everything we needed for the perfect multi-generation family vacation. Honestly, even the dog left with a smile on her face, and we all left exhausted but happy. The one and only thing I would recommend is perhaps providing two dump passes so we could do a dump run mid-week? With no compost, large families create a lot of waste, and it would be lovely to be able to rid the cottage of most of it before checkout day. Otherwise, as the dump doesn\'t open until 10am and checkout is at 11am, we are really hustling back from the dump to pack the car at 10:45am or we are lugging all of the bags of garbage with us to the dump when we leave at 11am. Just a thought. Otherwise it was lovely and both Cottage Care and Whip-or-Will cottage will be highly recommended by all.
